Two series, and a live event so far; so we are hoping for more.

About: The grandaddy of ghost hunting TV, it originally took a pinch of Ghostwatch, and a dash of Blue Peter, and a sprinkling of camp. Now in series 5, and boasting several 3 day live events, it's still great fun, if lacking the original scare factor. Are the findings faked? Who cares! It's good entertaining fun, and there's nothing wrong with that.

About: A wonderful and detailed website, dedicated to the life & work of Harry Price (1881-1948), the pioneering psychical researcher, ghost-hunter & author. The site has been up & running since December last year and the intention is to create a comprehensive resource of information on the internet about Price & his work. The website also contains the most detailed information on the net about Price's famous case, the notorious Borley Rectory.

About: Phil Whyman, previously of MostHaunted, now hosts investigations at many of the locations featured in the series, with other lesser known sites offered. Seemingly, he has set up shop on his own, but perhaps a television contribution is planned. It's great looking fun, and a chance to experience the ghosthunting thrills. Phil seems to have acquired a fixation with crucifixes (and his own image), don't let that worry you.

About: The US is treated to this quality publication. Ghost! Magazine features casefiles, editorials, reviews and much needed humour. Starting life as an online publication, the team branched out into print in 2004. Articles have included topics such as EVP, orb photography, ghost hunting gadgets and how the supernatural is represented in games, films and literature.

About: Fortean Times is a monthly magazine of news, reviews and research on strange phenomena and experiences, curiosities, prodigies and portents. It was founded in 1973 to continue the work of Charles Fort. Fort was skeptical about scientific explanations, observing how scientists argued according to their own beliefs rather than the rules of evidence and that inconvenient data was ignored, suppressed, discredited or explained away.

About: The rather classy, if slim, paranormal database features a searchable list of UK hauntings. There are some obvious ommissions, but the list is nicely presented, and likely to expand. There is also a feature regarding "aviation ghosts & mysteries".




Detailed and well presented guide to Raymond Cass, expert in EVP phenomena.
