Saxton Town and Harbour
Weather: Like many seaside towns, Saxton's weather is an ever changing and surprising force. The high Spring tides often result in flooding during the months of April and May, but the town is well protected by the Harbour Wall (installed by Frederick Ager, in 1847) and the impressive rocks of Grindle's Claw.

Many treasure hunters arrive during May, to sift through the newly exposed sand dunes and cliff sides, in the hope of glimpsing one of Saxton's long lost treasures. Some believe a great treasure, an Anglo-Saxon Crown, is still waiting out there, in The Fen.

This area of Anglia is also known for the Spring mists and fog, which roll in off of the North Sea, to shroud the town in an eerie half light. Later in the year, (June through to August), the town enjoys the bright English sunshine well known to tourists and travelers. Be sure to bring a cap, as long walks through the lanes of Northfield can result in a touch of sunburn!
